During the beta version of the Share Scoops mobile application, my team redesigned the education content page

Problem

The educational content currently exists within the mobile application gamified. According to a diary study by the previous Share Scoops Design Team:

  • 60% of closed-beta users found the educational page confusing in the game-like format

  • 50% of users did not understand the purpose of the page

  • 30% of users expressed dislike for locked content. The current beginning content is basic finance knowledge that some users already possess. Users want the ability to skip to content that would help them.

Target Audience

  • Between the ages 20-35 years old

  • College educated

  • Busy individuals who are well informed

  • Curious about business, finance and/or investing

How Might We...

  • Create an intuitive educational page with a clear purpose?

  • Gain users trust to create accounts on recommended resources that are separate entities from Share Scoops?

  • Show where the user left off in educational content?
